We are sad to announce that due to the COVID-19 crisis and its impact on lives, travel and attendance restrictions, we are postponing the 2nd All-Ohio Conference, originally scheduled for May 20-22, 2020. The decision has been made primarily with regards to the safety of our attendees and those with whom they come in contact. The organizing committee is working hard to find a new date that works best for all constituents impacted by this change.

Dear Members,

After closely monitoring the COVID-19 development, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the Central Ohio HFMA 2020 Women in Leadership Conference on April 16, 2020.

Having spent the past few months preparing for this conference with our planning team, speakers, sponsors, and event partners, we’re genuinely disappointed not to be able to host you at this time.

We want to thank all our chapter members and speakers for their support, and our planning team for the hard work that they’ve put into this event. We are working to reschedule the event later in the year. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through the details and will share more information about our plans in the coming weeks.


Central Ohio HFMA

As with most organizations and HFMA regions, the All Ohio Conference Steering Committee is constantly monitoring and evaluating the COVID-19 situation to understand its potential impact on our 2020 event. The conference is currently scheduled for May 20-22, 2020, at the Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris Hotel. We are in contact with the venue, as well as Topgolf to understand how they will handle events in May. At this point, much of that is predicated on Federal and Ohio Government mandates and recommendations.

That said, the All Ohio Conference is scheduled as planned. We continue to move forward with logistics, registration, and all appropriate coordination to make this a greater success in 2020.

In the event we have to postpone, we will publish that information via email, on this website, registration sites, and HFMA chapter social media outlets. We will also work with registrants and sponsors regarding reschedule dates, registration transfers, and if necessary, refunds. Please keep checking in for updates.

Dear members,

With companies putting tight restrictions on travel and meeting attendance, this can put a dampener on getting the education you want and require. 

As an HFMA member you do have access to great online educational content and Central Ohio has fantastic webinars coming up. Our website is always updated to show the latest offerings and link to register.

This being said, Central Ohio HFMA does have 2 wonderful conferences scheduled for later this Spring, Women in Leadership and our 2-day All-Ohio Conference. As of today they are both still on and both are to be held at The Renaissance, Polaris. We are working closely with the event and property managers to ensure the safety of our attendees and the Marriott (owners of The Renaissance) is sharing their protocols on their website.

Dear Central Ohio HFMA and ACHE Spring Conference Registrants,

We regret to inform you that we are postponing the upcoming Annual Spring Conference, scheduled for Thursday, March 12, at The Embassy Suites due to the impact of the COVID-19 activity. As the majority of our registrants’ employers have implemented severe restrictions on attending public gatherings, this not only impacts who is allowed to attend, it has meant several of our speakers are unable to present. Therefore, we have decided, in order to be prudent and to ensure we deliver the best conference experience possible we are postponing this conference and will deliver this content on a different date. The irony of cancelling a conference on disaster preparedness is not lost on us. However, we may be able to add a new topic on lessons learned.

If you have already registered, you may either cancel your registration online by tomorrow, 3/12, for a full refund. Follow the Cvent link and enter your Confirmation Number from your Registration Confirmation email. Or, you can choose to keep your registration and we will apply it to the future conference.
